1. r/realtors
This is the biggest agent subreddit, and self-promotion gets removed fast. Search the sub for "CRM", "follow up", "Follow Up Boss" and "lost leads", then answer those threads with a real workflow, like how to tag Zillow leads by response time. Only mention your product if someone asks what you use, and say plainly that you built it. Example: "I built a small CRM for this exact problem, happy to share, but here is the manual way first."
2. r/RealEstate and r/realestateinvesting
r/RealEstate is mostly buyers and sellers, but agents answer there and complain about lead flow in the comments. r/realestateinvesting has wholesalers and investor-agents who track many seller leads. Read the sidebar rules, comment helpfully for a week, and DM people only after they have replied to you. Search for "how do you track leads" and "spreadsheet".
3. BiggerPockets forums
BiggerPockets has dedicated agent and investor forums, and threads about lead management stay indexed in Google for years. Promotion is limited to your signature and the marketplace areas, so put a one-line description and link in your profile. Then answer CRM and follow-up threads in detail. Example search: "CRM for agents" in the forums, sorted by recent.
4. Facebook groups for agents
Join large groups like Lab Coat Agents, plus local ones such as "[Your City] Realtors" and brokerage-specific groups. Most ban links, so post a question instead. Example: "Agents getting Zillow or Realtor.com leads: how fast do you follow up, and what makes you lose track?" Reply to every comment, and offer free setup to anyone who describes the exact pain you solve.
5. Inman and agent newsletters' comment sections
Inman, RealTrends and HousingWire publish articles on lead conversion and agent tech, and the comments and LinkedIn shares draw agents and team leads. Leave a specific comment with one number from your own testing or a concrete tip, never a link. Then connect on LinkedIn with commenters whose titles are "Team Lead", "Broker Owner" or "Director of Operations".
6. LinkedIn search for team leads and ops roles
Solo agents are price sensitive. Team leads and transaction coordinators feel lead leakage most because they route leads to several agents. Search LinkedIn for "real estate team lead" or "ISA manager" in one metro and send a short note. Example: "I am building a lead tracker for small teams. Could I ask how you route leads today? No pitch, 10 minutes."
7. Free SaaS and real estate tech directories
List your CRM on G2, Capterra and Product Hunt, and in agent-facing tool roundups. Fill in the category "Real Estate CRM", add real screenshots, and ask your first users for honest reviews only after they have used it. These listings bring in slow but steady search traffic from agents comparing tools.
8. Local brokerage offices and REALTOR association events
Many brokerages hold weekly sales meetings, and local REALTOR associations run free or cheap tech sessions. Ask a managing broker if you can do 15 minutes on lead follow-up with no pitch, and bring a free setup offer. Hulby, an AI cofounder, can find these threads, groups and people for you every day and draft the replies.
Mistakes to skip
- Dropping a link in r/realtors or Facebook groups on day one and getting banned.
- Pitching features instead of the problem agents feel: leads going cold after 5 minutes.
- Targeting brand-new agents with no leads instead of active agents and team leads.
- Hiding that you are the founder when recommending your own product.

Which single place should I start with?
r/realtors. Search "CRM" and "follow up", and answer five recent threads well this week.
Can I post my link in Facebook agent groups?
Usually no. Ask a question, help in the comments, and share the link only when someone asks.
Should I target solo agents or teams?
Talk to both, but teams of 3 to 10 agents feel lead tracking pain most and pay more reliably.
How long before this brings users?
Expect a few conversations in the first week if you reply daily. Signups follow from those conversations, not from posts.
